Motherhood looks different for everyone. It changes with time, with circumstance, and with the seasons of life you find yourself in. Our Motherhood Sessions are designed to honour that, offering a space to pause and celebrate the bond between a mother and her children, exactly as it is right now.
These sessions take place throughout February in the studio and are intentionally simple, meaningful, and deeply personal.
Each session lasts up to half an hour, and that time includes everything. From settling in and getting comfortable, to gentle guidance during the shoot itself, nothing is rushed. Short sessions allow us to create something beautiful without it feeling overwhelming, especially for little ones, but they are just as powerful for older children too.
And when we say motherhood, we mean it in the widest sense. These sessions are for mothers with newborns, toddlers, teenagers, adult children, and every age in between. We have photographed motherhood at every stage and the common thread is always the same, connection. Whether your child fits perfectly in your arms or stands beside you, the bond is no less meaningful and no less worthy of being captured.
Some mothers choose to make use of our studio wardrobe, which includes a curated collection of gowns and silks, designed to photograph beautifully and feel comfortable to wear. Others prefer to bring something of their own or keep things simple and understated. There is no right or wrong choice, only what feels most like you.
What matters most is that no two sessions are ever the same. Every relationship is different, and your session should reflect that. Before your shoot, we’ll invite you into the studio for a pre session consultation where we take the time to plan everything with intention. From how you want the images to feel, to styling, tone and flow, this is where we shape a session that feels honest and personal to you.
Motherhood Sessions are £150 and are available to book throughout February. These sessions are limited and tend to fill quickly, so we recommend getting in touch early to secure your preferred date.
